  Council for the Accreditation of Education Preparation
  Hamline’s School of Education and Leadership is nationally accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).

  Minnesota Board of School Administrators
  Programs leading to administrative licensure are required to be approved by the Minnesota Board of School Administrators under Minnesota Statute 122A.14.

  Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board
  Teacher preparation programs leading to initial or additional licensure are required to be approved by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB). PELSB establishes licensure standards and requirements, approves institutions and licensure programs to prepare Minnesota teachers, and establishes and enforces the Code of Ethics for Minnesota teachers. The current authority and responsibilities of the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board are delineated primarily in Minnesota Statutes §122A.05 – §122A.09, §122A.18, §214, and Minnesota Rules, Chapters 8700, 8705 and 8710.

  CAEP: Specialized Professional Association
  The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) offers national recognition of programs for Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages.

  National Association of Schools of Music
  The National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) "establishes national standards for undergraduate and graduate degrees and other credentials for music and music-related disciplines, and provides assistance to institutions and individuals engaged in artistic, scholarly, educational, and other music-related endeavors."

  American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology 
  ASBMB accreditation is a national, independent, outcomes-based evaluation mechanism that recognizes excellence in B.S. or B.A. degree programs in biochemistry and molecular biology and related disciplines. Accreditation assists BMB educators in meeting the growing demand from collegiate accrediting bodies, university administrators and other stakeholders for regular outcomes assessment. Independent evaluation provides an objective tool for pinpointing strengths and weaknesses in their curriculum.

  Minnesota Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Board
  Hamline's department of criminal justice and forensic Science is certified by the Minnesota Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Board to prepare students to take the POST licensing exam.

  Partnership for Undergraduate Life Sciences Education
  The department of biology is recognized by the Partnership for Undergraduate Life Sciences Education at the Gold Progression Level.
