Welcome to the Master in Public Administration (MPA) program at Hamline University’s School of Business. Our goal is clear: to produce the leaders who improve governance and make communities better.

Program Options

Our two program options accommodate the schedules and career plans of working professionals.

Traditional Model
Attend evening classes on Hamline University's Saint Paul campus, take twelve 4-credit courses in 14-week terms, and complete the program within 2-4 years, depending on your pace of study.

Cohort Model
Form a peer student group and complete the program together in less than 2 years. Attend classes in the Hamline University Minneapolis Center, one night per week year-round with occasional breaks between courses. Take twelve 4-credit courses, each 8 weeks in length, to finish the program in 2 years.
