MUPC provides an opportunity for undergraduate psychology students from colleges and universities in Minnesota and neighboring states to present their research projects. In addition to poster and paper presentations of undergraduate research projects, programming for MUPC also includes a keynote address by Professor Karl. S. Rosengren, Professor of Psychology at University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Rosengren conducts research on cognitive and perceptual motor development such as children’s reasoning about events and cognitive, perceptual and motoric influences on ordinary tasks such as walking or catching.
This undergraduate psychology conference is a wonderful opportunity to present your research project and to see what kind of research students at other colleges are doing. A call for submissions to MUPC will be forthcoming in early spring. So if you have done an independent research project, a senior honors research project, an experimental psychology class research projects or a project in another psychology course, please consider submitting it for presentation at MUPC.
