Welcome Class of 2014!
Now that you are officially a Hamline student, we have a series of
required orientation and first year programs geared specifically to you and your transitional needs. These programs will help you, as first year students:
- Learn your way around campus.
- Develop new friendships.
- Understand the differences between high school and college.
- Begin to understand your academic requirements and resources.
- Be mentored by faculty through class selection and registration.
- Start to develop a sense of independence.
- Develop a connection to Hamline’s values.
- Become proud to be a Hamline Piper.
Hamline University is here to support you and your family through this transition. These orientation programs are designed to offer you the opportunity to get your questions answered, but also help develop your connection to Hamline. |
