Welcome GLS Alumni

Want to take a summer Course?
It's easier than ever for GLS alumni to come back and take courses. We'll register you under a new "alumni status" code, which means no application process at all.

Just use the Sampler Registration form, but know that you, as an alum of GLS, are not restricted to only the Sampler Course offerings. You may select any GLS course; however, registration restrictions apply (i.e., courses with the "MFA Only" attribute are open only to MFA alum) and courses are open on a space available basis (after a priority registration period for current students). Click "logins" in the right corner to browse courses in Piperline.  Current GLS Tuition & Fees.

Also, registration for the Summer Writing Workshop in St. Olaf is open now! Limited space is still available in sessions with Scott Russell Sanders, Wells Tower and Patricia Smith.

GLaaS News:

Welcome to the club! the Alumni Group for the MALS and MFA programs! Once you've graduated from the Graduate School of Liberal Studies, you automatically became a member of this dynamic, growing community. We're creating opportunities where thoughtful people, fascinating conversations, and events that will open the mind and heart converge. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Did you hear? We're blogging!

Not only does the GLS Alumni Association have a new name (GLaaS), but we also have a new blog: http://glaas.blogspot.com.

We invite you to come on over, take a look, email us posts, and bring this online version of our alumni community to life.

Tell us about yourself, your blogs, organizations, performances, or publications. Introduce us to music, movies, books, or authors you love. Tell us about events you're looking forward to ongoing/repeating events you think we'd love. Pass on great writing sites and resources. Send us your blog address for our blogroll or your organization's website for our list. Give us pictures to post. Subscribe to the blog to get automatic notice when we update. Find out what GLaaS is planning, where and when our events are, and how to get in touch with us.

If you have something to share, take a look at the topic you want to post under, see what info we need, write up your post, and email us at kaendermiles@gmail.com. (Be sure to include your name and graduation year.) We'll post it for you, and our community will communicate. :) We can't do it without you.
