Susan Power
is a Native American writer and performer currently living in Saint Paul. She is the author of two books, The Grass Dancer, winner of a PEN/Hemingway prize and Roofwalker, which was awarded the Milkweed National Fiction prize. She has been published in dozens of journals, magazines, and anthologies, including The Best American Short Stories. She is a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop and Harvard Law School, and the recipient of several fellowships including the Hodder Fellowship at Princeton, the Bunting Fellowship at Radcliffe, and more recently a United States Artists Fellowship.
