Certificate in ESL for Mainstream Teachers
Prepares teachers to better integrate English language learners into the classroom.

Teachers of Adult ESL Certificate
Designed for individuals working in adult ESL education who already have a BA or BS degree.

ESL License (K-12)

Prepares students to fulfill ESL license requirements designated by the Minnesota Board of Teaching. Upon your successful completion of the program, Hamline will recommend you for licensure.

Master of Arts in ESL 
With an MA in ESL, graduates will qualify for university and community college ESL positions both in the US and abroad.

Master of Arts in Teaching-ESL 
Students earn a master's degree as they prepare for their initial teaching license in the category that includes the designation K-12 in English as a second language (ESL).

TEFL: Teaching English as a Foreign Language
The Hamline TEFL Certificate gives you the teaching methods, theory and practice you need to succeed as an EFL teacher. We have established a reputation with placement organizations such as the Peace Corps and Central European Teaching Program.

 

Bilingual Education Additional License (K-12)
Bilingual/Bicultural education is a program of instruction in English and another language in which the two languages are used as media for instruction for any or all of the regular school curriculum.
