While in New Orleans we worked with several organizations, including:

United Methodist Committee on Relief:
UMCOR, the United Methodist Committee on Relief.  The work of this site is the physical gutting and rebuilding of houses that were flooded.  Students stayed at the People’s Community Center with other UMCOR volunteers.  They had the opportunity to work on environmental remediation projects, both in the wetlands or in the Lower Ninth Ward. http://www.umcor.org
