Overview
The Project Request Review process invites Deans, Senior Administrators and their designees to submit requests for projects in excess of $5000.00 that support one or more of Hamline University’s strategic initiatives. This process encourages a standard and fair way to evaluate project requests in response to perceived needs, budget constraints and impact. The request for funding will include a maximum amount to be awarded within the current capital cycle. The Project Review process also allows the ITSAC committee to review requests in a more organized timely format as well as meeting the technology needs of the University.
Rationale
- A process in which University constituents can request a IT projects above $5000.00 in a standard way which would allow a broad group to petition and have a greater audience to get funding and support for their request.
Benefits
- Educates the University, operational managers and leaders of perceived needs, issues, problems and opportunities.
- Proposals get reviewed by a representative committee.
- Increased input
