4th Annual 2008 International Conference on Public Administration

The conference will be held at the University of Minnesota on September 24-26, 2008.

The conference theme, Building Bridges to the Future: Leadership and Collaboration in Public Administration.

Dr. Thomas Walkington, Adjunct Professor, Public Administration Program is Executive Chairperson for the Conference.  Carol Becker, DPA candidate, will present her award winning paper titled "Is Public Administration Dead?"  Sharon Lubinski DPA student will be moderator for a panel on Leadership and Collaboration in disaster planning: I35W Bridge Collapse. Dr. Ellen Dosdall (DPA 2008) is serving as Volunteer Coordinator for the Conference.

Faculty are  encouraged to submit abstracts for papers by May 1, 2008.

Students have a unique opportunity to participate in the conference by serving as volunteers.
