Disability Resources
Hamline University and Disability Resources are committed to ensuring equal access to the university and its programs for students with disabilities. We coordinate and provide reasonable accommodations, collaborate to create an accessible and hospitable learning environment, and promote self-determination on the part of the individuals we serve.
Registering for accommodations
Students with documented sensory, physical, learning, attentional, or psychological disabilities may be eligible for support and reasonable accommodations through the Disability Resources Office.
While civil rights laws provide for equal access, students must begin the process by requesting services and/or accommodations. In general, Hamline University does not provide testing or conduct evaluations to document a disability. It is the responsibility of the student to obtain the appropriate disability testing/evaluation and provide documentation that supports the reasonable accommodations requested. Students who want more information on where to obtain disability testing/evaluations should contact the Disability Resources Office.
