Description
Family and friends, as well as members of the Hamline University music department, are holding a Memorial Concert for Marjory Black, who passed away May 8. Marjory's French Horn career spanned seven decades, including over three decades as a French Horn instructor at Hamline.
Performers will include members of the Twin Cities Horn Club, horn players from the Minnesota Orchestra, Marjory's student Denise Tryon, violinist Stephanie Arado, pianist Jim Reilly, and folks telling stories about Marjory. There is no admission charge. Marjory's friends, students, and colleagues are all welcome and encouraged to attend.
