Máel Embser-Herbert, Professor of Social Justice and Social Change, recently participated in the panel, "Removing the Camouflage: Queer and Trans Military Voice Speak Out," at the annual conference of the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWP) in Seattle, WA. The panel addressed, in part, strategies for creating social change through advocating for more diverse voices in the writing and documenting of military experiences.
