2024 Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration

Join members of the University and neighboring communities for a celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s life and legacy as we reflect upon his life, leadership and pursuit of racial and social justice. This year’s program, focused on “Dr. King's Nobel Lecture: The Quest for Peace & Justice” will feature faculty, staff and student participants as well as remarks from new Interim President Kathleen Murray. Rounding out the program will be musical selections from a local special guest musician, as well as the announcement of the 2024 Beloved Community Awards. Additional information about this event will be available on in early January.
