Institutional Effectiveness Office
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness supports the university's mission, values, and core commitments by providing institutional research and leadership in the areas of institutional data analysis, accreditation, compliance, and assessment. The office also compiles common data sets related to enrollment, graduation, and student demographics. The office collaborates with the provost's office, the Committee on Learning Outcome Assessment (CLOA), the Office of Financial Aid, and the Registration and Records Office. The overarching goal of this office is to ensure educational quality and data integrity with a focus on student success and student learning.
Publicly available data
Hamline University's College Navigator profile, from the National Center for Education Statistics, provides federally reported, publicly available data about Hamline University. This data includes institutional profile information, such as accreditations, academic programs, and services; financial aid and net price information; admissions, enrollment, and graduation figures; retention and graduation rates; resources available for veterans; athletics participation; and campus safety statistics.
Outcomes of recent graduates
The Career Development Center conducts a survey of the previous year’s graduating class to determine their post-graduation employment and education status. All students receiving a Bachelor’s Degree are surveyed. The reports provide an overview of the First Destination Survey results by graduating class.
