Finish strong and graduate with honors
You earn Latin Honors by meeting the GPA requirements below while completing 52 or more credits graded A-F at Hamline or through ACTC. Due to the timing of final grades at the end of spring semester, Latin honors printed in the commencement program are based on final grades that have been posted before April 1. (The honors actually awarded are based on all final grades earned and may differ from what is listed in the commencement program.)
- Summa cum laude: 3.9 GPA
- Magna cum laude: 3.75 GPA
- Cum laude: 3.5 GPA
Talk to your faculty advisor about Departmental Honors. If you are working towards University Honors be sure to check in to make sure you are on track.
