Early University Honors Program
If you are admitted to the Early University Honors program, you will join a program with distinction nationwide as well as being the most comprehensive in the area. You’ll enjoy the many perks and benefits of being an early honors student. Those benefits include:
- Opportunities to do research and creative projects
- Mentorship with honors faculty from day one
- Access to the Honors Lounge available only to honors students
- Advantage of being able to network and collaborate with external partners as well as members of the Hamline community.
How to join
The Early University Honors program is offered to only a select cohort of new, incoming undergraduate applicants who demonstrate extraordinary accomplishments in and out of the classroom. Students are chosen based on their completed admission materials to Hamline; there is no separate application process.
Final decisions will be made and first-year student candidates will be notified in March of their senior year in high school. Transfer student candidates will be notified on a rolling basis.
