Pronouns: she/her/they/them
Territories: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan
Education: B.A. in Environmental Studies
Hometown: Neenah, WI
Favorite College Activity: I loved living on campus! Not only did I build skills for community living, but I also formed life-long relationships with friends. Campus life offers a built-in support system for out-of-state students, and oftentimes ends up being a home away from home. When I wasn't studying or socializing in the dorms, I loved exploring my college town, participating in campus events and club meetings, and studying abroad for a semester in South Africa.
Interesting Fact About Me: My hometown has a foundry where manhole covers, sewer grates, and sidewalk ADA pads are created. I get to see pieces of Neenah in all the cities I visit!
Favorite Place to Go in the Hamline-Midway Area: I love stopping in to Flying Pig Thrift. I've found some neat trinkets and decor pieces for my home that I wouldn't have been able to find at department stores. Go look for some hidden gems!
Why I Love Hamline: I love the willingness and sincerity possessed by all of Hamline's staff and faculty. All of the people that make up the teams for student support genuinely want students to succeed and retain the information that they are learning. Our close-knit campus, our diversity, and our encouragement for open discourse helps to foster a community that learns and grows together.
