Gail Rutan
Gail Rutan, ATLAS Senior Events Manager, comes to ATLAS with over 20 years of experience in event management in corporate meetings & events, incentive travel programs and educational conferences, as well as hospitality management. Gail holds a BA in Mass Communications/Journalism from Winona State University and earned a CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) license in 1995. In addition, she has been a frequent substitute teacher for ISD 719 as well as a K-12 academic tutor focusing on reading and math skills. Gail served on the board of the Lakeville Council for Gifted and Talented for 8 years, working closely with Lakeville School District 194 in offering additional enrichment opportunities as well as improving the district's math curriculum. She also worked with the MN State High School Math League in establishing and maintaining a summer math youth enrichment camp in the Twin Cities for gifted math learners. As ATLAS Senior Events Manager, Gail manages all logistical planning and coordination of all ATLAS meetings and events, participant and presenter communication, on-site logistical coordination, professional development support, and general ATLAS grant activity/budget maintenance.
