J. Boone Dryden

Graduate Advisor

J. Boone Dryden graduated from the University of Wisconsin -- Milwaukee with a degree in English in 2005, after which he had a career in publishing and writing. He moved to St. Paul in 2013, where he received his J.D. (2016) from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and his MFA (2017) from Hamline University. He is a writer, editor, and game designer, and his work can be found in Black Chaos II, 365Tomorrows, and Every Day Fiction, as well as his novel, Alchemist's Run. He has been with Hamline since 2018, during which time he has been the Interim Director for the Writing Center, the Legal Studies Program Coordinator, and most recently the Graduate Advisor for the Graduate Paralegal Certificate and the Masters in the Study of Law. He's fond of cats, soccer, mapmaking, and board games.
