Jason McGlone is a Midwest musician, producer, mixing, and mastering engineer. As a teacher, Jason aims to provide real-world situations for his students and help them efficiently grow into world-class musicians and engineers. With 20 years of professional experience in modern recording studios worldwide, Jason hopes to share his methods while guiding students to find their creative voice.
Jason has worked in the studio for Lady Gaga, Whitney Houston, Prince, Dirty Loops, Stokley, Cory Wong, and The Minnesota Orchestra.
Jason has composed for: Pepsi, Target, Dunkin’ Donuts, and The Onion News Network.
Jason graduated from McNally Smith College of Music with a BA in percussion performance and a BM in music production.
Students in Jason’s class examine the advancements in this ever-changing field and will be prepared to enter any creative musical space with confidence and stewardship.
