Liz Montag

Liz Montag is Hamline's Deployment, Maintenance, Response (DMR) Technician – Apple/iOS Systems.

Liz has worked in both the manufacturing industry and in higher education settings. Most recently she was employed as a technology support consultant at the University of Iowa, where she provided direct support for both the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) and the Earth and Environmental Sciences Departments.

At Hamline, the scope of Liz's work entails installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading hardware, software, and associated equipment. In addition, she's responsible for sharing knowledge and expertise in Apple, iOS, Microsoft, Android, Windows, and Chrome OS as well as for providing classroom support. Her DMR partner is Tom Butler, our DMR Technician – Windows Systems.

Liz holds BS degrees in both computer information technology and mathematics from the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, IA. She enjoys tabletop games and gaming generally, reading, and digital drawing,
