Meghan Maloney-Vinz has served as the managing (now executive) editor of Water~Stone Review since 2007. Water~Stone Review is an award-winning, international, literary print journal annually produced by Hamline University’s MFA creative writing program (CWP) since 1998. Additionally, she oversees the (faculty and student) personnel and final production of Runestone, the program’s national online undergraduate journal. Meghan also manages the office and assists in administrative and communicational tasks for the CWP and the Arts, Media, and Culture (AMC) unit at Hamline.

Since earning her MFA with a focus on book arts and poetry from Hamline in 2007, Meghan, along with other Hamline alumni, founded the small book arts press, broadcraft press, where she serves as layout coordinator and project manager. She is also poetry and managing editor of the Under Review, an online literary journal with a sports slant. Between these two projects, Meghan has designed, in some cases handsewn, and published nearly ten titles and editions (including one MN Book Award finalist) of poetry and hybrid work.

Meghan hails from a small town in southeastern Wisconsin but has lived her whole professional life in Saint Paul, MN with her wife and two kids. She is happiest when deep in a creative project, sideline at a sporting event, or in the front row of any small, live music venue in New Orleans.
