Precious Keke, student area coordinator of the Hamline Apartments, is majoring in forensic biology. Precious found her start in residential life as an RA in the 2023-2024 academic school year, earning awards such as Best Program of the Year. In her first year as an RA, Precious displayed a strong ability to be organized, take initiative, and always be personable by consistently keeping open contact with her residents.

As a student area coordinator, Precious has many responsibilities, including supervising her team of resident assistants, handling policy violations, overseeing the safety of students in the Apartments, and upholding all Hamline University policies.

Precious's strengths include attention to detail, community-building, flexibility in hard situations, and—most importantly—being objective. As a student from a diverse background, Precious can better understand where students are coming from and help them through any adversity they may face. As a former commenter especially, she can identify problems that affect students campus-wide.

In her upcoming position as a student area coordinator, Precious hopes to utilize her skills and help her team of resident assistants handle all situations that may arise. Precious hopes to help not only her resident assistants but also residents overall feel safe, comfortable, and able to communicate freely.

Outside of Residential Life and being a student, Precious enjoys trying out new recipes to cook, antique shopping, spending time with friends, and discovering new places like cool coffee shops.
