Sinéad Barry
Sinéad Barry serves as the Director of Development for the Violence Prevention Project Research Center (VPPRC), where she leads the Center's fundraising and development initiatives. With a passion for social justice and a commitment to creating positive change, Sinead brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit management, strategic planning, and donor relations to her role. Prior to joining VPPRC, Sinéad held various leadership positions in the nonprofit sector, where she successfully spearheaded fundraising campaigns, cultivated strategic partnerships, and implemented innovative programs. Her experience in development strategy and unwavering commitment to the advancement of mission-driven social issues have earned her widespread respect in the field. Proficient in nurturing cultural empathy and fostering effective communication, Sinéad excels in orchestrating transformative engagement initiatives that broaden individuals' outlooks on themselves, their communities, and the global landscape.
Sinéad holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Bethel University and is committed to lifelong learning and professional development. Outside of work, Sinéad enjoys studying emotional psychology and neuroscience, practicing yoga, and exploring various aspects of healing. She is deeply involved in volunteering for her community and cherishes spending time with her family. She is dedicated to VPPRC's mission and looks forward to collaborating with colleagues and supporters to further the Center's goal of reducing violence through research that is both accessible and geared toward action.
