Sorin Residence Hall
Sorin Residence Hall is located on Englewood Avenue to the west of Manor House. Originally dedicated as a women's hall in 1958, Sorin Hall is named after Elizabeth and Emily Sorin. The Sorin sisters were Hamline University's first female graduates who received both B.A. and M.A. degrees. Sorin Hall houses over 100 men and women students on single-gender floors, including two women's floors and one men's floor. All rooms in Sorin Hall are double occupancy and feature ample storage space, large windows, and direct access to the Sorin game room located on the first floor. Sorin Hall is barrier-free.
