Professor Ryan LeCount and his colleague Professor Tyrell Connor were awarded a $50,000 grant from the New Jersey Gun Violence Research Center to study the attitudes and experiences of African American firearm owners-- with a particular focus on the role of racism and policing in the lives of Black gun owners.
