CLA Associate Dean Linnette Werner has been invited to edit a volume of "New Directions in Student Leadership", a leadership journal published by Wiley. The special issue will focus on her book, "Teaching from the Emerging Now/, and will invite a wider conversation about emergent teaching as an approach for leadership development that can address how educators and facilitators can embrace what emerges in the world and their classrooms, instead of minimizing or ignoring it, and shift themselves and their students from shock and unease to acceptance, curiosity, and invitation in the moment when it is most needed.
