Parrish Works in Vietnam

 HSEL Professor Betsy Parrish worked with educators in Hanoi, Vinh, and Dong Thap, Vietnam as a U.S. Department of State English Language Specialist in January. She offered two-day workshops in each city, preparing English language teaching professionals to establish site-based, practitioner-led Communities of Practice in their schools and universities. She also met with leaders from the National Foreign Language Project and was also a featured speaker at the University of Languages and International Studies' Symposium on CoPs. This visit was Phase 3 of a nearly three-year Specialist Project.
