During the Environmental Reporting Study Away program last January with Professor Suda Ishida, Hamline students had a chance to visit the Thailand-Myanmar border and Doi Inthanon, the highest mountain in Thailand, which connects to the Himalayan Mountain range. The students also had opportunities to work with Richard Paddock of the New York Times, Mary Stucky of the International Women's Media Foundation, an independent photojournalist Lauren DeCicca, local Thai reporters of the Bangkok Post, and Pracha Thai during this study abroad trip.
