Sharon Preves, Professor in the Department of Social Justice and Social Change, recently presented an invited keynote address at the international conference "Centering Intersex: Global and Local Dimensions". This conference was virtually hosted by the University of Huddersfield in the UK and attended by an incredibly diverse group of international and interdisciplinary activists, scholars, and advocates. Preves' keynote was entitled, "30 Years of Intersex Activism in the U.S. and Canada" and was an overview of her comparative historical research on intersex over the course of three decades.
