Professor of History Kate Bjork will join scholars and artists from Guam, Hawai'i, Puerto Rico, Cuba, the Philippines, Spain and the U.S as a presenter in the Edgar P. Richardson Symposium planned in conjunction with the exhibit "1898: U.S. Imperial Visions and Revision," which opens at the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery at the end of April 2023 and runs through February 2024.
