Four Seniors Present at ACTC English Majors Conference

Seniors Anika Besst, Bailey Harris, Ruqa Martins, and Calder Michienzi presented papers at the ACTC (Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities) English Majors Conference at Macalester College on Friday, March 31. Besst presented, ""How Lost Objects are Found: A Healing Process Repositioning Irish Narratives" on the British and Irish Literature panel; Harris presented, "Poaching Coyotes" on the Creative Writing panel; Martins presented, "Trauma-Lesson-Trauma: The Partial Win in Julia Dashʼs Daughters of the Dust" on the American Literature panel; and Michienzi presented, “A Requiem in Song in Spike Leeʼs When the Levees Broke” on the World and Multicultural Literature panel.
