Celebrate the Power of Literary Worldmaking

The English and Communication Studies Department recently received a generous donation of over $90,000.00 from former English faculty member Dr. George Vane.  The funds will be used to promote the power of creative expression to shape change in the world.  We will host symposia featuring local creative writers and an Alumni Writers-in-Residence Series, which connects the creative work of recent alums to classroom learning and broader issues facing the Hamline-Midway community, throughout the academic year.
