Global and International Studies professor Kathryn Geurts received the MSS Innovation Award for her “ingenuity in structuring innovative and inclusive opportunities that improve the lives of individuals with disabilities.” Hamline students enrolled in the Public Health Senior Seminar this semester are the third group Professor Geurts has guided in community-engaged learning at MSS which is one of the Twin Cities’ oldest disability justice organizations.
