Religious and Spiritual Life Meetings Scheduled

Dear Hamline Students, Staff, and Faculty:

Many Hamline community members and their allies with family, friends, and connections to the Middle East continue to be impacted by war. In difficult times, many find comfort and strength in their spiritual and religious practices. To this end, Welsey Center's student-led organization, the Multi-Faith Alliance (MFA), is offering four weekly gatherings.
  • 8:15-8:35am, Thursdays: Holy Communion (Chrisitan religious practice) in The Gathering Place, 130 Sorin
  • 12:40-1:30pm, Fridays: Jum'ah Prayer (Muslim religious practice) in The Gathering Place, 130 Sorin
  • 4:00-4:30pm, Fridays: Kabbalat Shabbat (Jewish religious practice) in The Gathering Place, 130 Sorin
  • 7:00-8:00pm, Fridays: Meditation and Mindfulness (spiritual practice) in the Wellspring, 3rd Floor of Anderson
Please note:
  • All gatherings are open to all Hamline Community members -- students, staff, and faculty.
  • These gatherings will occur weekly when classes are in session during the Fall and Spring semesters.
If you do not find your spiritual or religious tradition represented and would like to start a new weekly gathering for the Hamline campus community, please reach out to Chaplain Kelly.
