Hamline Physics Students Showcase Research

Hamline physics students Lucas Liabraaten 26, Diego Luna Gutierrez 26, Shelby Phillips 26, and Professor Lifeng Dong presented their research findings at the TechConnect World Innovation Conference & Expo held from June 16-18, 2024. Their project, titled "Enhanced Detection of Lead Ions in Drinking Water Using Bismuth Nanoparticles," was financially supported by the EPA People, Prosperity, and Planet Award. The TechConnect World Innovation Conference & Expo connects top applied research and early-stage innovations from universities, labs, and startups with industry end-users and prospectors.
