Valentine Cadieux, faculty in the Environmental and Climate Studies program and Director of the Center for Justice and Law during its ongoing Environmental Justice series, was invited to present the closing keynote at the Association of the European Schools of Planning (AESOP)'s Sustainable Food Systems conference in Belgium. Her talk, titled "How is sustainable food planning contributing to agroecological repair?" was presented in the Ghent City Museum (sited in the 13th century Bijloke monastery, pictured!), alongside a public exhibit of the PhD work on the movement to maintain public farmland in Belgium, by Hans Vandermaelen, work for which Dr. Cadieux also served on the jury.
