Hamline Welcomes New Coordinator of Gender + Sexualities Programs

The Division of Student Affairs is excited to welcome Eli Scriver to Hamline University community as the new Coordinator of Gender + Sexualities Programs!   Eli Scriver (he/him) is a Certified Sexuality Educator with the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists. He is a Knox College alumnus and a passionate supporter of the liberal arts. He specializes in LGBTQ+ health equity, transgender anatomy and physiology, adult education, and virtual learning practices. He is currently writing a book on emerging understandings of transgender pleasure anatomy. In his free time, Eli enjoys birdwatching, playing The Legend of Zelda, and spending time with his spouse and cats, Dumpster and Toaster.   In his role as Coordinator, Eli is responsible for the Center for Gender + Sexualities, including: managing the center, creating programs, initiatives, services and partnerships that support, assist and empower students from diverse gender, sexual orientation and other intersecting identities. This individual will work collaboratively with the Division of Student Affairs and other university partners to reinforce best practices relating to student development, advocacy and support regarding sex, gender, gender identity, and sexual orientation identity. Related, this staff member will provide the subject matter expertise to support Hamline University students, staff and faculty in advancing the full inclusion, belonging and equity for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.     For more information about the exciting work Eli will lead, please visit the Center for Gender + Sexualities webpages.
