Thank you to those of you who participated in the listening sessions with Academic Search which were held at the end of June with faculty, staff, students, alumni, the Presidential Search Committee, the University Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees. Your feedback was very helpful to the Search Committee as we developed the Presidential Profile. The position was posted today, Monday, August 5. You can find the profile on the Hamline University Presidential Search site and the advertisement and profile on Academic Search's site.
During the next six weeks, Academic Search will actively recruit candidates for the position. You can help that process by nominating candidates who you feel meet the criteria outlined in our profile and who would be an excellent next president for Hamline. Please send nominations to HamlinePresident@academicsearch.org and include the nominee’s name, position, employer and email address in your nomination. The deadline for full consideration of applications is Monday, September 23, 2024.
The Search Committee will next meet on Tuesday, September 10 for a first review of applications and again on Monday, September 30 to make the determination of which applicants to move forward for initial interviews. We will receive regular updates from Academic Search regarding the status of the candidate pool throughout August and September. As in our past presidential searches, this will be a confidential process so that we can have the strongest possible pool of applicants. We will share where we are in our process as we go forward, but names of candidates will remain confidential.
