Dear Hamline Community:
In partnership with our consultants from Academic Search, the Provost Search Committee developed and finalized the Provost Profile during the months of September and October. We're excited to announce that the position was posted today, Friday, October 25. You can find the position listing on Hamline’s Employment Opportunities page and the advertisement and profile on Academic Search’s site.
Over the next eleven weeks, Academic Search will actively recruit candidates for the position. We encourage you to nominate individuals who you believe meet the qualifications outlined in our profile. Please submit nominations to HamlineProvost@academicsearch.
The search committee will meet on Monday, December 16 to conduct a preliminary review of applications. We will then submit our lists of top 8-10 candidates to our colleagues at Academic Search by Wednesday, January 15. Our next meeting will be on Friday, January 17, 2025, where we will determine which applicants will move forward to the semi-finalist interviews.
Semi-finalist interviews will be January 29-30, 2025. The names of the candidates will remain confidential until we invite the Hamline community to participate in finalist interviews on campus at the beginning of spring term. We are expecting a strong pool of applicants and look forward to sharing updates as our process moves forward.
Very best,
Jermaine Singleton
