Collaborative Undergraduate Research Programs Information

Hamline students and faculty:

For those who missed the recent information session, the Collaborative Research Program invites both students and faculty who are interested in collaborative research opportunities and our summer program to take a look at the informational slides located here.  Both the SCUR website and the informational slides will provide information on all SCUR-related opportunities including:

  • SCUR summer program: where students pair with faculty to work on a collaborative research/scholarship project over the summer (including stipends and research support for students and faculty, as well as free credits and summer housing for students)
  • National Conference for Undergraduate Research: where students doing original scholarship can present their research at a national conference (funding for students is available through an application process)
  • Scholars at the Capitol Event: where students can present their work to legislators in the MN Capitol Rotunda
  • On-campus opportunities to share original scholarship with the Hamline community.

In addition, any faculty that would like either Leif or Ryan to come give a quick pitch at one of their classes, please reach out directly as we would be glad to come talk about the program and opportunities for students.
