Student Leader Selection Process for 25-26

As winter break approaches, we are excited to share with you information and dates regarding the upcoming Student Leader Selection process. 

Student Leader Selection (SLS) is a collaboration between multiple Student Affairs offices to identify and hire students for various leadership positions across campus. These are paid student employment positions through which students have the chance to impact campus in real and positive ways. Positions hired through this process include:

  • Hamline University Programming Board
  • New Student Mentors
  • Peer Wellness Educators
  • Resident Assistants (academic year and summer)
  • Student Activities & Leadership Development (SALD) Coordinators
  • Campus Recreation Coordinators

The position listing and job descriptions for the 2025-2026 school year will be finalized on the Student Leader Selection website in January, however you can expect to see all of the positions above available again. Please note that the job descriptions currently on the site are from last year, and will be updated in January.
