Asp Presents at Harvard Medical School

Dr. Erik Asp (Psychology) presented his research on the neural correlates of belief and doubt at the inaugural Neurospirituality Symposium at Harvard Medical School.  Dr. Asp's talk was entitled Without a doubt: Neural evidence for epistemological mechanisms; his work indicates that damage to a specific network in the brain (including right prefrontal cortex, inferior parietal lobe, and inferior temporal lobe) increases credulity, vulnerability to misinformation, and religious fundamentalism.
