The Hamline University Showcase for Student Research and Creative Inquiry in the Classroom 2025 will take place during convo hour on May 6, 2025. More information will follow!
This fun and exciting event will highlight the amazing research, creative inquiry, and community-engaged work that Hamline faculty and students do in their classrooms. Hamline SCUR program follows the Council on Undergraduate Research in defining undergraduate research as “a mentored investigation or creative inquiry conducted by undergraduates that seeks to make a scholarly or artistic contribution to knowledge” and invites faculty and student scholars from a variety of disciplines to apply.
Any student who conducted a research, creative inquiry, or community-engaged project as a part of the course or as an individual/independent study at Hamline during the 2024 - 2025 academic year can take part. Team and individual projects are encouraged! Students of every field and level are welcome, from humanities to natural sciences, from fine arts to social sciences, from education to business, and beyond!
The initial submission of the presentation proposals (title, presenters' names, and a short abstract) is due by 8 a.m. on April 15 (please complete this form to submit a proposal). If you have questions, please contact Irina Makarevitch in the Provost's Office at imakarevitch01@hamline.edu.
