We are two weeks away from the 2025 Social Justice Symposium (SJS), on April 1 through 4! This year, we'll recognize the life and legacy of Shirley Chisholm (1924–2005), the first Black woman elected to Congress and the first Black woman to run for president from a major political party.
We’re kicking off the symposium with a keynote address by Seena Hodges, who will explore Chisholm’s impact on politics, leadership, and social justice. Join us on Tuesday, April 1, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Klas Center, Kay Fredericks Room. For the full schedule, visit the Hedgeman Center webpage.
