Under the mentorship of chemistry faculty member Dr. Urvashi Sandhir, three students—Mirnesa Delic ’25, Sara Dooley ’25, and Hailey Brady ’25—presented two oral talks on their collaborative research in plasma chemistry at the American Chemical Society (ACS) Spring Meeting, held March 23–27, 2025, in San Diego.
- Mirnesa Delic spoke in the Polymer Materials Science and Engineering Division. Her presentation was titled: “Green synthesis of antibacterial silver nanoparticle dispersed hydrogels via cold atmospheric pressure plasma.” This project included collaboration with Dr. John Matachek and Dr. Betsy Martinez Vaz from Hamline University.
