Alison Stanik and Emily Hilderbrand have been named student speakers for 2023's Spring Commencement.
Allison studied Legal Studies and Professional Writing and Rhetoric and achieved her TEFL certification in her Junior year. She was involved with many organizations on campus as a lead educator with Peer Wellness, the vice president of SPSV, a part time Women’s Resource Center worker, and is actively involved in organizations outside campus.
Emily is currently the Weekend Events Programmer for the Hamline University Programming Board and Student Body External President. She has also planned Fireball and been the President of Spectrum. Her proudest accomplishment is establishing Hamline as the second ever Reconciling University, for which she was awarded the Campus Compact award, the Samuel L. Parish Religious Leadership award, and the Jeanne Audrey Powers Award.
