Beth Gunderson, dean of the Hamline School of Business (HSB) will retire December 31, 2023 after nearly 43 years of service to Hamline University.
Beth has served the university, its students and its ideals faithfully since 1980," President Fayneese Miller said in a statement. "She, along with her kind demeanor, quiet expertise and impactful style of teaching will be dearly missed."
Beth earned her MBA from the University of St. Thomas and her PhD in decision science from Union Institute in Cincinnati. Since being hired, she has taught a little bit of almost everything in the business curriculum—marketing, finance and even decision science. She has positively impacted the lives and careers of our students for many years.
