Work by Curt Lund, associate professor in the department of Digital + Studio Arts, has been selected for “Type Speaks,” a national juried exhibition of typography. Hosted by the Ledet Art Gallery of Nicholls State University, part of the University of Louisiana system, the exhibition will run October 16 through November 16, 2023. Lund’s entry, “Reading is Fundamental,” is a 34-color letterpress-printed artist’s book. The book was printed and bound entirely at Hamline, utilizing the D+SA Typelab studio in Bush Center.
